25 Days of Christmas — Day 4

Our own Great Light Fight

I was so excited this year when our neighborhood announced there would be a holiday decorating contest.

Tonight we all gathered at our adorable neighborhood gazebo and celebrated Christmas together.

There was a cookie exchange, hot cocoa, smores and we voted for our favorite holiday decorated house.

And guess what! We won second place!

I love my neighborhood so much and it was so fun getting to know more of our neighbors. We have only lived here about a year now and we moved in the middle of the pandemic. So there hasn’t been much of a chance to get to know our new neighbors yet.

I’m so excited that we won second place. We will have to expand our decorations next year and shoot for first!
